I came on the board after being gone for awhile and just for info purposes(regarding Hospice and Martha) Hospice does not dispose of medicines, the client or facility where the client lives disposes of them.

I also hope this board continues to give out good informative info instead of all this bullshit I see going on. Its too bad when you build up a board and come back and see people like Martha and CB going at it...all I can say is take it to another room or board!!!!!! Let the good people on here READ informative info.
Welcome back. PAIN FEE IS THE WAY TO BE.
It might vary by region or situation. When my mother in law died in 1999 at her home. We were all there and the hospice nurse, the minute she couldn't find a puls, had all the liquid meds. and pills flushed within 30 seconds. And she took the morphine patches with her too.
I don't care if you've been gone for awhile or not. My mother died of cancer, the hospice took care of the meds and it couldn't matter less to me if you do or don't believe it. Ya, I had to get on this board and lie about what happened to my moms meds after she died at home. Unless you are me, my sister or my father you have no way of knowing that fact do you??
THANK YOU! Even though I wasn't there, I'm sure that's what happened. That's what they did with my mothers. Sorry, I just can't stand people stating fact when they weren't there to know one way or another.
